How to convert many .msg files to PDF
- Drop a folder, a ZIP or a selection of .msg and .eml files into the box above.
- Check the list: every email with its date, sender and subject, in date order.
- Choose one merged PDF, separate PDFs in a zip, or just the attachments.
- Unlock with a 24-hour pass or Pro, and download.
One merged PDF, in date order
For a case file, an audit or a handover, one PDF that tells the story from start to finish.
- Emails sorted oldest first by the date they were sent, or by the date received.
- A cover page listing every email's date, sender and subject.
- Page numbers that run through the whole bundle.
- PDF and image attachments added after their email.
- An optional password to lock the PDF.
How dates are read
Dates are read inside your browser from each file: the sent time stored in a .msg, or the Date line of an .eml. All dates are put in one time zone before sorting. If an email has no sent date, the received date is used, then the date the file was saved, and the cover page marks it as "date estimated".
Or separate PDFs in one zip
Each email becomes its own PDF, named after its date and subject, so the files sort themselves. Attachments that can't become pages, like Word or Excel files, go into the zip alongside.
Attachments in the bundle
PDF and image attachments are added as pages right after their email, so the bundle reads in order. Untick the option for email bodies only. Word, Excel and other files go into a zip alongside, in a folder per email. Or choose Attachments only to get just the files.
Which pass do I need?
24-hour pass, $6.99
Unlimited emails and batch for a day. One-time, never renews.
Pro, $12.99 a month
Or $89 a year. For people who handle email files every week.
Up to 100 per run
Run another batch for more. Each email is converted one at a time.
Is it safe to convert confidential emails?
Yes. Emails often hold contracts, invoices and personal details, so this tool works inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device, and we never see it. Scripts in an email are removed and it is shown in a sealed frame, so a harmful email cannot run code on your computer.
Questions about batch conversion
Do you see my emails?
No. Every email is converted in your browser, so we never see them.
Can I mix .msg and .eml files?
Yes. Drop them together, with winmail.dat files and ZIPs, and they are sorted into one order.
What if one email fails?
The rest carry on. Any file that could not be read is listed with the reason, so you can check it.
Is the single-email pass enough?
No. The single-email pass covers one email. Batch needs the 24-hour pass or Pro.
Can I change the order?
Choose sent date or received date. Both put the oldest email first.
Can I lock the merged PDF?
Yes. Add a password before downloading. Keep it safe: it cannot be recovered, so you would convert the emails again.
Can I run a batch on a phone?
Yes. Choose several files at once from Files or Downloads. For large folders, a computer is quicker.
What is on the cover page?
Every email in the bundle with its date, sender and subject, and which date the order used. You can leave it out.
Are the PDFs searchable?
Yes. Text stays text in every PDF, so you can search the whole bundle and copy from it.
How do I know it has finished?
A progress bar shows each email as it is converted. Keep the tab open until the download is ready.
