Privacy policy

Your email files
Files you drop are read and converted on your own device. We don't receive them to convert them, and we can't read them. If you choose Send to phone, the file is encrypted on your device first, so the copy we hold for 24 hours can't be read by us. It is deleted after 24 hours, or straight away if you choose Delete it now.
Payments
Paddle is our reseller and handles checkout, payment details and tax. We never see your card or bank details. Paddle's own privacy notice explains how it uses your details.
What we keep
For each pass: a scrambled copy (a hash) of its licence key, a keyed fingerprint of the email address you used at checkout, the type of pass, its dates, and Paddle's order number. The fingerprint lets us find your passes when you restore access, without storing your email address. We keep these for as long as the pass is valid, and then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Restoring access
When you ask to restore access, we use the email address you type only to find your passes and to send you a one-time link, through our email provider Resend. The link works once and expires after 30 minutes.
On your device
Your browser keeps your licence keys and how many free previews you have used today, so passes work without an account. We don't use cookies or advertising trackers. Paddle's checkout may set its own cookies while you pay.
Counting visits
We count visits to the site with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. It records which page was opened, the site you came from, and your browser, device type and country, and we only see these as totals. It never sees your email files or anything in them.
Who handles data for us
Cloudflare hosts the site and our small database, and stores encrypted Send to phone files. Like any web host, it handles your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure. Paddle handles payments, and Resend sends restore emails.
Your rights and contact
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it, under the data protection law that applies to you, such as the UK and EU GDPR. Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. The data controller is AM Ismail, an individual based in Doha, Qatar.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. If a change affects how we use your details, we say so on the site before it takes effect.
