- Drop your .eml file into the box above, or choose it from your device.
- Check the free preview: sender, subject and a watermarked first page.
- Pick paper size and an optional password. PDF and image attachments are added as pages; other files download alongside.
- Download your PDF, named after the email's date and subject: free up to 2 MB, or unlock it with a pass.
Exactly what's in your email, presented better
An .eml file is the standard format for a single email, used by almost every mail app. It holds the message as the sender wrote it, often as a web page with pictures. We keep every word, image and table exactly as sent, and lay it out on clean, numbered pages.
- Pictures inside the email are put back in place; pictures loaded from the internet are shown only if you choose.
- Text stays selectable and searchable; links stay clickable.
- From, To, Cc, Date and Subject sit in a clean header.
- Replies and forwards become one clean entry per message, oldest first, with repeated quotes removed.
- Every language and alphabet displays correctly, including right-to-left text.

EML to PDF on a Mac, iPhone or Android
Some devices open .eml files, but often lose the layout, the pictures or the attachments, and few can save them as a tidy PDF. This converter runs in Safari, Chrome and other modern browsers, so you don't need a mail app. On a phone, tap the box above and pick the file from Files or Downloads.
Convert many .eml files at once
With a 24-hour pass or Pro, drop a folder or a ZIP of .eml and .msg files together. Get separate PDFs in one zip, or one merged PDF sorted by date with a cover page listing every email.
See batch conversionIs it safe to convert confidential emails?
Yes. Emails often hold contracts, invoices and personal details, so this tool works inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device, and we never see it. Scripts in an email are removed and it is shown in a sealed frame, so a harmful email cannot run code on your computer.
Questions about EML to PDF
Do you see my email?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so we never see your email.
What happens to the attachments?
PDF and image attachments are added as pages after the email, so they open in any PDF viewer. Other files, like Word or Excel, download alongside your PDF.
Why are some pictures missing from the preview?
Some emails load their pictures from the internet when opened, which can tell the sender you read it. We hold those back until you choose to load them.
What if the PDF doesn't look right?
Check the free preview first. If anything from your email is missing or wrong in a paid PDF, you get your money back within 7 days.
Can I open an encrypted .eml file?
Emails encrypted with S/MIME can only be opened with the recipient's private key, so we'll tell you if a file is encrypted.
What does it cost?
One email up to 2 MB is free, every time. Bigger emails are $1.99 each, after a free preview (up to 3 previews a day on each device). A 24-hour pass is $6.99 for unlimited emails and batch. Pro is $12.99 a month, or $89 a year. The one-time passes never renew.
