How to extract attachments from email files
- Drop one or more .msg, .eml or winmail.dat files into the box above, or choose them.
- The free preview lists every attachment found, with its name, type and size.
- Choose whether to rename the files by the email's date and sender.
- Download each file, or all of them in one zip with a folder per email: free from one email up to 2 MB, or unlock with a pass.
What you get
Saved emails are often kept only for what they carry: an invoice, a contract, a scan. Getting those out usually means opening each email in Outlook and saving each file by hand. Here, every attachment comes out at once.
- Every attachment, including those inside emails attached to other emails.
- Each file listed with its name, type, size and the email it came from.
- An optional rename by date and sender, like "2026-10-14 J Smith invoice.pdf", so names never clash.
- One zip, with a folder per email, when there is more than one file.
Attachments inside attached emails
Emails are often forwarded as attachments, each with files of its own. The extractor opens every attached email and collects its attachments too, and keeps the attached email itself as a file, so nothing is left behind.
From many emails at once
With a 24-hour pass or Pro, drop a whole folder or a ZIP of emails, up to 100 per run. Files are opened one at a time, so your browser stays quick, and any file that fails is listed with the reason.

Is it safe to open confidential emails?
Yes. Emails often hold contracts, invoices and personal details, so this tool works inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device, and we never see it. Scripts in an email are removed and it is shown in a sealed frame, so a harmful email cannot run code on your computer.
Questions about extracting attachments
Do you see my files?
No. The emails are opened in your browser, so we never see them or their attachments.
Which files can I drop?
Outlook .msg, .eml from any mail app, winmail.dat, and ZIP files holding them. Mailbox archives like PST and MBOX are not supported yet.
What if two attachments have the same name?
With rename on, each gets its email's date and sender in its name. With rename off, a number is added, so no file overwrites another.
Can I extract attachments on a phone?
Yes. Tap the box above, choose the emails from Files or Downloads, then save single files or the zip.
Can I save just one file?
Yes. Save any file from the list on its own, or everything in one zip.
Are pictures in the email body included?
No. Only real attachments are extracted, not the logos and pictures that sit inside the message.
Can I turn the emails into PDFs as well?
Yes. Use MSG to PDF for one email, or batch conversion for many.
What does it cost?
One email up to 2 MB is free, every time. Bigger emails are $1.99 each, after a free preview (up to 3 previews a day on each device). A 24-hour pass is $6.99 for unlimited emails and batch. Pro is $12.99 a month, or $89 a year. The one-time passes never renew.
