Who we are
openemailfile.com is run by AM Ismail, an individual based in Doha, Qatar. In these terms, "we" means us and "you" means the person using the site.
The service
Tools that open, view and convert email files (.msg, .eml and winmail.dat) and their attachments, inside your browser. One email file of up to 2 MB gets its full result free, one at a time. For bigger emails and batches, a free preview shows part of each result, up to 3 a day on each device, and a paid pass unlocks the full result.
Passes and prices
Free: the full result for one email file of up to 2 MB, one at a time, as often as you like. Single email, $1.99: the full result for one email of any size. 24-hour pass, $6.99: unlimited emails and batch for 24 hours from purchase. Pro, $12.99 a month or $89 a year: unlimited use, renewing until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars; Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies. The single and 24-hour passes are one-time payments and never renew.
Our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.
Pro subscriptions
Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on the site, or from the link in your Paddle receipt. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
Using the tools fairly
Use the tools only on files you have the right to open. Don't try to get round the free tier's limits, the preview limits or payments, overload the service, or copy the site. A pass is for you or your organisation; please don't share licence keys publicly.
Your files
Your files stay yours. They are converted on your device, and we don't receive them, except as an encrypted file if you choose Send to phone (see the privacy policy).
Our promise and its limits
We aim for every result to show your email exactly as sent. If anything from your email is missing or wrong in a paid result, the refund policy applies. Some files can't be opened: emails encrypted with S/MIME, mailbox archives (PST, OLM, MBOX) and damaged files; the tools say so instead of guessing. Keep your original email files: a PDF is a copy, not a replacement.
Responsibility
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and changes don't affect passes already bought. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Qatar. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live. Questions: [email protected].
